The National Press Club is committed to survive in an increasingly
competitive international environment - being globally aware and locally
relevant makes good business sense.
The National Press Club has called on the government and the ANC to “seriously rethink its stance” on the Protection of Information Bill and the proposed Media Tribunal Bill. At the same time, the press club has called on President Jacob Zuma and his cabinet to “engage the media fraternity” on the controversial new media laws. Read the statement here.
